B.A. Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC)
The Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) interweaves proven strategies and tactics of marketing, branding and positioning, public relations, advertising and sales in a context of significantly changing markets and business climates. Students can opt for a concentration in social media.
PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT (ESPECIALLY WITH REAL CLIENTS)
The program focuses on practical experience. Through multiple projects, you will have
a chance to work closely with professionals in the field and with real clients. IMC
students also build a marketing portfolio—a powerful, often make-or-break credential
when competing for internships and jobs.
FIVE KEY FEATURES give IMC students an early advantage in acquiring professional and practical skills:
1. SWAT TEAM
Our student-run, in-house SWAT Marketing Communication Consulting Agency puts students
in charge of all aspects of the consulting process as they conceptualize and design
campaigns and programs for real clients.
2. CAPSTONE EXPERIENCE
Students turn what they’ve conceptualized and designed as consultants into a creative
plan.
3. CAPSTONE INTERNSHIP
Students put all or parts of their plan into action in a real-world, on-the-job setting.
4. IMC LEARNING LAB (IN PROGRESS)
This exclusive IMC program resource gives students the facility and tools to implement their campaigns.
5. IMC BOARD OF ADVISORS
Composed of marketing and public relations experts, this advisory board offers students
a top resource to answer questions and connect with them valuable internship and Capstone
opportunities.
